Kayla Allen
Kayla Allen is a singer/songwriter born in Ottawa, On and raised in Montreal, QC.

For as long as she can remember, music has been an important part of her life. Growing up with a DJ as a father broadened her exposure to various genres of music. Music very quickly became second nature to her. Having gained the confidence from performing on stage at a young age, her transition from high school talent shows to sold-out concert halls was instinctive.

Kayla released her first single on iTunes titled "Not Giving Up" in 2016 which celebrates her Jamaican background. She has gone on to release many other singles which include: "Unruly Wine," "Bad Cravings," "Freaky Gyal," Family Prayer" and "Something About You" featuring dancehall artist Riigz. She has performed at Jamaican Association in Montreal, Canada Day parades and her biggest show yet, Jamaica Day. In 2018, she had the opportunity to open for Jamaica’s dancehall recording artist, Konshens and in 2019, was 1 of 20 artists across Canada to perform at Talent Nation in Montreal.

Kayla continues to strengthen her craft with voice lessons, ear training and songwriting.
